Welcome Matthew Rocco Clark!
Thursday, October 20, 2005, 09:55 AM
Chrsitina and Jeff were blessed with a little boy on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at 8:08 pm ... yes, a little BOY, not a girl like they were expecting! They are so happy with Matthew Rocco Clark. He is perfect. He weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz. and looks a lot like his older brother, Benjamin.
Christina did a great job in labor and Jeff was an incredible coach. These guys are old pros now, with two babies only 18 months apart! Marcia and Anthony were there to help with the labor as well and Christina and Jeff had a midwife and doula present as well. All involved said it was a beautiful experience. Christina's labor was only 5 hours long, compared to her first labor which was 12 hours long!
Both mom and baby are doing very well and we've got some photos to prove it ... take a look:
Ben was very excited about his new little brother and calls him "bebe"
Both Jeff and Ben look pretty tired and dazed afterwards!

Daniel's Birthday!
Thursday, October 6, 2005, 03:21 PM
Happy Birthday to Daniel! He turned 26 on October 4th. Most of the day he just went to work ... actually all of the day he worked, but he came home early, around 7:30 pm and had a small birthday dinner and then cake and ice cream with the family.
The night before his birthday he opened a few gifts to wear to work the actual birthday. The gifts he received were mostly business clothes (shirts, ties, black socks, etc.)
Update: Daniel is still working everyday in NYC for Deutsche Bank and commuting 5 hours a day ... the commute part is getting old ...
Daniel is also still interviewing for other jobs in the area. He loves the experience he's getting at Deutsche Bank. He's learning how to do "equity derivatives" (I actually had to call Daniel and ask him what he did all day at work. He explained it to me and I still have no idea).
I am getting bigger and am 31 weeks along. Next week I will begin my 8th month. The baby is about 3 to 4 lbs and 16 to 18 inches long! I noticed a type-o in my old entry ... I said the baby was 6 inches long, when in reality he was about 16 inches. Anyway, Christina, my little sister, is due tomorrow (Oct. 7) so here at the house, we are all preparing for the new arrival and making plans for when she finally goes into labor - it's all very exciting.
Daniel and I get the chance to visit his parents in PA quite a bit too. We are really enjoying our time here on the east coast being near family on both sides.
Well, have fun looking at the latest photo ops of Daniel's birthday celebration.
We love hearing from all of you, keep up the emails and phone calls!
Love,
Daniel and Francesca

Daniel opening his first birthday gift, the night before his birthday. He got a messenger bag for work. Woo woo, he's so cute!
Benjamin, Christina's little 1 year old boy, on Daniel's lap. He started blowing out the candles after the candles were out ... he was confused in this picture; not sure what needed to be done.
I'm not sure who got more joy out of this gift, Ben or Daniel.
Happy party goers (Bethany and mom)

Nephews are too cute
Wednesday, September 14, 2005, 06:24 PM
Well, we are having a ton of fun here in New Jersey! I spend most of my days now documenting how cute my nephews are. I take videos and pictures of them constantly. Their mommies don't really have to worry about that now, hee hee.
Check out the few pictures and I hope to add some links to a few videos of the boys ... they are just too much cuteness to handle ... but maybe I'm biased.
Bethany's little 2 year old boy, Dominic - look at those eyelashes!
Cheesy grin from Dominic
Those are definately Bethany's big, brown eyes.
Christina's little 1 year old boy, Benjamin wearing Aunt Fran's shoes.
Benjamin in rockport, MA ... Daddy (Jeff) buried him.
Ben studies his pasta ... eating is a complicated matter.
