Happy Birthday Noah Daniel Forsyth!
Thursday, December 15, 2005, 12:01 PM
The Forsyth's have a new addition to their family - it's the moment we've all been waiting for, and it happened on Saturday night, Dec. 10, 2005 at 11:56 pm. Noah weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches long at birth.

Those who were helping with the birth were Daniel, Marcia, Teresa Fischer (our doula), and Lisa Lederer (our midwife). Labor was long and started Friday night, but serious labor didn't start until Sat. at 6 pm. There were no complications, no pain medications, and it was a very beautiful experience.

So far, we think Noah has Daniel's hands and mouth and Francesca's feet. We're very happy and very tired new parents.

We've already taken a ton of pictures and I had a hard time narrowing it down to these few. Enjoy! We hope to get our Christmas cards out and family picture to you soon. And we would love to hear from you, so click on "add comment" below the pictures to send us a message!

Happy Holidays! Love,

Francesca, Daniel, & Noah

Francesca and her Baby Shower
Tuesday, November 22, 2005, 03:02 PM
Many of you have been asking for photos of me lately ... so, here are a few. I had my baby shower on November 10th and it was a blast! So many wonderful friends came and were incredibly generous!

The big group gift given was a travel system (stroller and baby carrier/baby carseat). I was so thankful and happy at the end of the night.

Thanks to all and hopefully the next entry will include some pictures of our new little edition when he decides to come!

Love,
Francesca

Daniel and I after the Baby Shower

I love this picture ... I look so confused by the package of baby diapers ... boy am I in for it if I can't even figure out the diapers!

This is me with the phenomenal travel system ... that sounds like it should come with a passport for the baby too, eh?

Me at 36 weeks (a few weeks ago).

Happy Halloween & Happy Birthday Francesca
Friday, November 4, 2005, 03:42 PM
Halloween night was a blast at the Damiano's this year! Everyone dressed up and Benjamin and Dominic went trick or treating together ... Matthew is still a little young for that (2 weeks old!) We carved pumpkins, made hot cider, ate cookies and candy, then passed out watching "The Alligator People" (a classic scary movie filmed in the 1950's).

The next day, November 1st, was my birthday!! I turned 25 this year. Daniel took off the day of work and we played all day! We went out to lunch and watched a matinee movie and just loved spending every moment with each other. Daniel is usually gone all day from 6 am to 8 or 9 pm, so this was truly a treat! We went out to dinner and came home for cannoli (an Italian pastry that is out of this world!), ice cream, and presents. Daniel got me the most expensive gift by getting tickets for us to go see "Carmen" at the Metropolitan Opera House in NY on November 23rd!!!!! Denyce Graves, a famous mezzo-soprano, will be singing the role of Carmen. I am very excited! It wa san incredible day filled with family and fun!!

Exciting news from Daniel: he was offered a job with M&M Mars in their Finance department and he has accepted it! He will now be working only a short 15 minutes from home and gaining great experience. He's very happy to feel settled in a job finally.

So many blessings! We are very happy and doing very well. The baby keeps growing and I am doing great. So far it looks like the baby will not be early ... so December 7th is the day to remember. Thanks everyone for the emails and well wishes, keep it coming, we love you all,
