Aria is Engaged!!!

* UPDATE * :
ARIA HAS MOVED HER WEDDING DATE UP BY TWO MONTHS! SHE WILL NOW BE GETTING MARRIED ON SATURDAY JUNE 9, 2007 AT 12:00 PM (NOON).
She will have her endowments out on Thursday, June 7, at 6:00 pm. All who plan on attending both events in the temple should plan on being in the temple a half hour before (11:30 am for the wedding and 5:30 pm for the endowment). Right now, she plans on having her reception at Hacienda de la flores in Moraga from 5 to 8 pm on June 9th.
WHY SHE CHANGED THE DATE:
Mom and Aria have been crazy planning the wedding from the second she got engaged. They were having a hard time booking a place for the reception. She would either have to get married later or two months earlier to have the reception place they wanted ... so ... aria and Walter prayed about it and tried to make some decisions as to where they'd live and how this would change their married lives and they decided to go earlier. This only makes the craziness of a wedding 2 months more urgent - the entire thing needs to be planned in 2 1/2 months ... phew!Anyway ... that's that and we'll keep you updated.
Yes, it's true. Crazy and exciting as it is ... Aria got engaged on Saturday, March 17, 2007 (St. Patrick's Day) to Walter Blackburn. He took her to a movie and then brought her home and had a bag of M&M's for her. When she opened the bag of M&M's she noticed they were all pink and white. Aria says she thought she won a million dollars or something in some contest M&M was doing ... then she read what was printed on each M&M: "marry me arz" ("Arz" is a nickname for Aria). Then Walter got down on his knee and asked her formally.
Her ring is tension set with 3 channel diamonds on each side of the main diamond. They are planning on (and have a temple date) for Saturday, August 25th 2007 in the Oakland temple. The temple time is set for 12:00 noon. She's getting her endowments out on Thursday, August 23rd at 6:00 pm in the Oakland temple and I'm sure she'd love to have as many family members there as possible - for both events!
Walter is from Idaho and is best friends with Mina's husband, Kris Donner. Walter is majoring in Information Systems right now, but isn't sure that's where he wants to stay. Walter is 24, Aria is 18. Both Aria and Walter are gong to school at BYU-Idaho and that's where they met. They met the first week of school during Fall semester and have been pretty much inseparable since then.
I think that's all the news I have on them so far ... we'll keep you all posted.

Noah has a playdate buddy named Isabella Cook. We call her Bella for short. Bella is 9 months old and is very cute! Her mom is Tracie Cook. Tracie and her husband Clint have been in our ward here in Perrysburg, but are moving to Houston today! So, Noah had Bella and her family over for dinner on Sunday and we caught some last pictures of Noah and his first girlfriend. He really gets a kick out of kissing her and playing with her and poking her face. Anyway, enjoy the pictures and videos. We are sure going to miss Bella, Tracie and Clint!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hey Everyone,
Hope you enjoyed your Valentine's Day. We sure did! Daniel got a coffee maker and I got a diamond ring ... I'd say that's fair ... anyway, we've gotten tons of snow here in Ohio. There is 3 feet of snow on our back porch as I write! Noah has been doing lots of fun stuff lately. He likes to draw now (his drawing sessions consist of him mostly taking the crayons out of the cup and putting them back in - not so much drawing ... but a little). He likes to play with daddy's guitar and now knows how to answer the important life questions: "What does a tiger say?" and "What does a monkey say?" So, we have videos and a few pictures to share.
We also have a few Clark pictures and videos (Christina and Jeff) - since we are their personal family documentors. They are doing great in Utah right now. Jeff is going to Honduras, hopefully, this summer with the BYU dental club and Christina just got a job working at Gold's Gym ... she is so tough.
Christina, Bethany and I entered our babies into the Live with Regis and Kelly Beautiful Baby Search ... we are expecting a call any day now ... I attached the winning entries (our baby pics) we sent in.
Also, we recently heard from our friends, the Holbrooks. Their daughter has been in the hospital and we just got an email saying she's doing better and off the breathing machine she's been on. We added a video just for her, to say hi and tell her we are so glad things are starting to look up. We pray for you and love you!!!

Noah colors! ... (check out the make-shift table and chair. The table is made from a plastic drawer without the drawer and the chair is a Bath and Body Works container).
The wind blew the snow up on the screen pretty high, but the snow is actually piled up to the third pane.
This is a first. Noah is a pretty active guy and he got sick a few weeks ago, so he was pretty wiped out. We heard him playing one moment, then nothing the next and we walked in and found him like this! The sad thing is that the fuzzy thing he snuggled up to are the PJ's he wet through the night before ... oh gross, we are the worst parents.
